there are many different ways to workout and be healthy. my favorite thus far - the bar method. i kept hearing how the bar method worked your core and really whipped you in to shape. so after winning an unlimited month of classes at a fundraiser for children’s cancer, i dove right in.
holy moly! talk about a workout. the only class i have taken where the instructors encourage you to shake… and keep shaking.
the bar method is based on the technique of German dancer Lotte Berk. it is not a cardio, a.k.a. sweaty, workout, but focuses on one muscle group at a time, stretching between each group. arms. calves. thighs. seat (glutes). all while keeping the “the bar method tuck” - tuck your seat, pull your shoulders back and tighten your core.
